Polyamide
(PA or Nylon)

The versatility of nylon makes it one of the most widely used engineering thermoplastics. Commercial nylons include nylon 6, nylon 4/6, nylon 6/6, nylon 6/10, nylon 6/12, nylon 11 and nylon 12. Nylon 6 and PA 66 have good mechanical properties, creep resistance, temperature resistance, chemical resistance and tribological (friction and wear) properties. In addition, nylon is easy to injection mold and extrude The most common extruded nylon is a polyamide 66, which offers a balanced combination of performance and cost that provides users with a unique engineering plastic polymer. Nylon was the first engineering resin and is used in a wide field of applications ranging from electronic, marine, and automotive industries. Extruded Nylon 66 has outstanding wear resistance and low frictional properties whilst also exhibiting very good temperature, chemical and impact properties.

Extruded Polyamide offers:

• Good mechanical strength
• Very good wear properties
• High impact strength
• Good damping characteristics
• Good sliding properties

Typical Applications

• Key Locks for GRE pipes
• Connectors, switches
• coils bodies, cases plugs and covers
• Vacuum cleaner handle
• Fasteners
• gear wheels and sliding pads
• Metal replacement

Polycarbonate

PC is an amorphous thermoplastic with a glass transition temperature of approximately 150ºC, allowing it to be used at elevated temperatures. Probably its most notable property is its very high impact resistance. PC offers some of the highest impact/toughness properties of any thermoplastic material. Because it is an amorphous polymer, PC offers very good dimensional stability, uniform mold shrinkage and low tendency for warpage. PC is inherently transparent and therefore is very suited for use in applications requiring transparency, such as lenses, windows, signs, etc. PC also offers good mechanical properties such as strength, stiffness and creep resistance as well as good temperature resistance. In addition, a wide range of additives can be used to produce PC products that have excellent UV resistance or flame retardancy. Because PC has good electrical properties it is often used in electrical / electronic applications such as housings, cell phones, computers, etc .

Polymer Characteristics

• Very high impact / toughness
• Transparency / clarity
• Good temperature resistance
• Dimensional stability / low warpage
• Good mechanical properties
• Good creep resistance
• Good electrical properties
• Can be made flame retardant, UV resistant

THE BENIFITS

Polycarbonate plastics have really a high value for anyone to use. Polycarbonate plastic is moldable, durable, lightweight, flame resistant, shatterproof, and energy efficient. A single of its finest properties is high impact resistance, that are more than 200 times.

PTFE tubes & pipes

PTFE is mainly used in wear-resistance & corrosion prevention applications. PTFE components possess many merits. They can provide effective protection against atmospheric acids. Therefore Teflon moulded and machined components guarantee maximum durability. Besides they possess the characteristic of easy application and low maintenance cost. Higher electrical performance is another merit of PTFE moulded components. The Teflon resists attacks from aggressive chemicals. Lastly Teflon also reduces the risk of media contamination.

Glass epoxy products

We supply various grades of Epoxy based sheets and components as per customers requirement.

FRP composites

Swiftly evolving composite technologies are central to the production of stronger yet lighter auto components that reduce the overall weight of cars. Those materials – made from resins melded with reinforcing fibers -- enable automobile manufacturers to improve cars fuel efficiency. That achievement is vital to fulfilling the industry’s objective of slashing C02 emission levels from the current 135 g/km to 95 in 2020. The development and use of composites in that manner demonstrates the “Driving Well-Being” philosophy AIP to benefit companies, drivers, and the environment at once.

Acrylic

Acrylic is a polymer created when giant carbon molecules combine chemically. Finished acrylic sheet exhibits glass-like qualities – clarity, brilliance, transparency, translucence – but at half the weight and up to 10 times the impact resistance. It can be tinted or colored, mirrored or made opaque. A number of coatings can be applied to a sheet or finished part for performance enhancing characteristics such as scratch resistance, anti-fogging, glare reduction and solar reflective. Because it’s a thermoplastic and softens under extremely high temperatures, acrylic can be formed to virtually any shape. Incredibly durable, acrylic is a suitable solution over a broad temperature range, and has superior weathering properties compared to other plastics.

Acrylic Physical Benefits

Formable With a little heat, it’s easy to shape and mold.
Durable Impact resistance that stands the test of time.
Weatherable Stands up to the elements longer than other plastics.
Non-Yellowing A 10-year, limited warranty that guarantees no yellowing.
Some of our supplied and fabricated Acryllic products include:
1. Transformer Oil Level Indicators
2. Trays
3. Panel Covers
4. Plates
5. Other Customer Oriented Fabricated products

Silicone Rubber Tapes

Fine grade Silicone Rubber tape is ideally used to insulate moisture sealing joints. This tape is also used for sealing electrical lower voltage and insulating cable applications like Induction furnace coil, apart from this, clients can purchase this Silicone Rubber Tape from us in various colours and sizes.

Pyrojacket

High Temperature Firesleeve Heavy Duty Fire Sleeving Designed to protect hoses, wires and cables from the hazards of high heat and occasional flame. Thicker, denser inner glass fiber than our Industrial grade Fire sleeve gives higher insulation values, increased strength and enhanced abrasion resistance.

Silicone rubber coated fiberglass sleeve protects hoses, cables and wires from molten metal splash, high heat hazards and occasional exposure to flame, in steel plants, glass plants, foundries, cutting and welding shops and wherever hoses, cables and wires may be exposed to high heat or occasional flame.

Manufactured from high bulk braided fiberglass sleeving and coated with a custom compounded silicone rubber designed to form a protective barrier and extend the life of hydraulic lines, hoses, wires and cables in areas of extreme heat exposure in hazardous environments.

We also provide customised pyrojacket of any sizes, also available with Velcro closure option

Temperature: Up to +260°C continuous (+1090°C for 15 to 20 minutes, +1650°C for 15 to 30 seconds).
Ability to withstand a molten metal splash at 1200°C.
It is resistant to oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, acids and alkalis.
Excellent flame and abrasion resistance.
Retains heat within the pipework thus reducing energy loss.
